Pembroke Park

Pembroke Park Neighborhood

Pembroke Park is a lovely town community found within the Broward County area of South Florida where people can find a fascinating mix of people who share the benefit of living within an area that offers residential and industrial opportunities to people all around the world. It is located two miles southwest of Hollywood and 14 miles north of Miami.

The town community was originally called “Holly Hills” and “Hollywood Ridge Farms” but it was later changed to Pembroke Park due to its location along Pembroke Road.

Pembroke Park can be somewhat different from most places found within Broward County as people can expect to find a significant portion of the community’s residents actually live in mobile homes.

Nevertheless, people who would like to live within the town can easily find a great selection of homes which are located within close proximity to the town’s many historical sites and museums such as the Old Fort Lauderdale Village & Museum, the Old Davie School Historical Museum, the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, the International Game Fish Association Hall of Fame & Museum, and the International Swimming Hall of Fame — to name a few.

There are also numerous parks and recreational facilities found within the community such as the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park and the Oleta River State Park.
